Jewellery Warranty

Beautiful jewellery deserves to be enjoyed with confidence.

Every Lady Lynsey piece is created with care and attention to detail. Our manufacturer’s guarantee provides additional reassurance should your jewellery develop a fault as a result of a manufacturing defect.

Below you’ll find information about your guarantee, what it covers and how to register your Lady Lynsey jewellery.

YOUR MANUFACTURER'S GUARANTEE

Made With Care. Backed By Our Guarantee.

Your Lady Lynsey jewellery is covered by our manufacturer's guarantee for 12 months from the date of delivery.

WHAT YOUR GUARANTEE COVERS

Manufacturing Defects

Our manufacturer's guarantee covers parts and labour required to repair your jewellery where a fault has occurred as a result of a manufacturing defect during the 12-month guarantee period.

If you believe your jewellery has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact our team. We'll arrange for the piece to be inspected and advise you on the next step.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Jewellery naturally experiences wear through everyday use. Our manufacturer's guarantee is designed to cover manufacturing faults rather than damage or changes that occur through normal wear, accidental damage or misuse.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR GUARANTEE

What Isn’t Covered

Jewellery is designed to be worn and, naturally, it will show signs of wear over time. Our manufacturer’s guarantee covers manufacturing defects rather than damage caused through wear, accidental damage or misuse.

01

Normal Wear & Tear

Everyday wear can gradually change the appearance and condition of jewellery. This may include light scratches, surface marks, dullness and general signs of wear.

02

Accidental Damage

Damage caused by knocks, impacts, crushing, catching or other accidental events is not considered a manufacturing defect.

03

Misuse or Mishandling

Damage resulting from inappropriate use, mishandling or exposing jewellery to conditions that may cause damage is not covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee.

04

Claws & Settings

Claws and settings can become worn, bent or damaged through everyday wear or accidental impact. Where this is the result of wear or damage rather than a manufacturing defect, repair work is not covered by the guarantee.

05

Loss of Stones

The loss of a stone is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect. The jewellery will need to be inspected to establish the condition of the setting and the likely cause of the stone becoming loose or being lost.

06

Repairs By Another Jeweller

Repairs, alterations or adjustments carried out by another jeweller may affect your manufacturer’s guarantee where that work has contributed to or caused the fault being reported.

IF YOU'RE UNSURE

Let Us Take A Look

If you believe your jewellery has developed a fault, please contact us. We’ll be happy to inspect the piece and determine whether the issue is covered by our manufacturer’s guarantee.

Where the work falls outside the guarantee, we can advise you on the repair required and provide a quotation before any work is carried out.

YOUR MOISSANITE

Lifetime Stone Warranty

The brilliance you fell in love with is designed to last.

In addition to our 12-month manufacturer's guarantee for your jewellery, your moissanite is covered by a lifetime warranty against the loss of its fire and brilliance.

LIFETIME
STONE WARRANTY
WHAT THE STONE WARRANTY COVERS

Fire & Brilliance

Your moissanite stone is warranted for its lifetime against the permanent loss of its fire and brilliance.

This warranty relates specifically to the optical properties of the moissanite itself and is separate from the manufacturer's guarantee covering the jewellery.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Stone Warranty & Jewellery Guarantee

The lifetime stone warranty does not extend the 12-month manufacturer's guarantee on the jewellery itself.

It does not cover the loss of a stone, accidental damage, chips or damage caused through wear, impact or misuse, nor does it cover claws, settings or other parts of the jewellery.

If you have a concern about your moissanite or the jewellery holding it, please contact us and we'll be happy to advise you.

LOOKING AFTER YOUR JEWELLERY

Caring for Your Jewellery

A little care can help keep your jewellery looking beautiful and your stones secure for years to come.

Fine jewellery is made to be enjoyed, but everyday wear naturally places stress on settings, claws and other components. Looking after your jewellery and checking it regularly can help identify wear before it develops into a larger problem.

01

Check Your Settings

From time to time, take a close look at the claws and settings holding your stones. If a stone feels loose or a claw appears worn, bent or damaged, stop wearing the jewellery and contact us for advice.

02

Avoid Knocks & Impacts

Remove your jewellery before activities where it could be knocked, caught, crushed or subjected to unnecessary pressure. Even fine jewellery can be damaged by a significant impact.

03

Take Care With Chemicals

Where possible, remove your jewellery before using household cleaning products and avoid unnecessary contact with chemicals, cosmetics and other substances that may affect its appearance.

04

Store It Carefully

When your jewellery isn't being worn, keep pieces separately where possible to help prevent them rubbing, scratching or becoming tangled with other jewellery.

05

Keep It Clean

Regular gentle cleaning can help remove the everyday build-up that can reduce the appearance of your jewellery and the brilliance of your stones.

06

Have Well-Worn Jewellery Checked

Jewellery worn regularly can benefit from periodic inspection. Checking claws, settings and other components can help identify signs of wear before a stone becomes loose or further damage occurs.

SOMETHING DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT?

Don't Wait Until A Stone Is Lost

If you notice movement in a stone, a damaged claw or any change to the condition of your jewellery, we recommend that you stop wearing it until it has been inspected.

Our jewellery repair service can assess the piece and advise whether any maintenance or repair work is required.
