Terms & Conditions of Sale

Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order with Lady Lynsey Jewellery Designs. These terms explain our ordering process, payment arrangements, delivery, cancellations, returns and product guarantees.

1. About Us

Lady Lynsey Jewellery Designs is part of the HAZ UK Limited Group of Companies, based in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter.

We specialise in jewellery design, manufacturing and bespoke commissions. Our website is available at www.ladylynsey.co.uk .

For enquiries, please contact us at info@ladylynsey.co.uk or telephone 0121 233 0023 .

2. General Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through our website and to orders accepted directly by Lady Lynsey Jewellery Designs, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms as applicable to your purchase. Please retain a copy for your records.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer legislation.

3. Placing an Order

To place an order, browse our website, select your preferred jewellery design and any available options, and add the item to your basket.

Once you have reviewed your order, proceed through checkout and provide the required delivery and payment information.

Please ensure that all details, including ring sizes, personalisation, delivery addresses and contact information, are correct before submitting your order.

After placing an order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email. This confirms that we have received your order, but does not necessarily constitute acceptance.

4. Order Acceptance & Availability

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

We reserve the right to decline an order where a product is unavailable, a pricing or description error has occurred, or we are unable to fulfil the order.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order. If payment has already been collected for an order we cannot accept, the amount paid will be refunded.

Where an item is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss the available options, including an alternative product, revised delivery date or refund.

5. Prices & Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed during checkout before your order is submitted.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout or otherwise agreed with us.

Where third-party payment providers, including Klarna, are offered, their own eligibility criteria, terms and conditions may also apply.

We may correct pricing errors before accepting an order. If a correction affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.

6. Jewellery Manufacturing & Delivery

As jewellery manufacturers, some of our designs may be produced or finished to order rather than immediately available for dispatch.

Estimated manufacturing and delivery times may vary depending on the design, availability of materials, hallmarking requirements and any individual specifications.

We will provide delivery information during the ordering process or in subsequent correspondence.

If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you to discuss the available options and your applicable cancellation rights.

For further information, please visit our Delivery & Returns page.

7. Bespoke Jewellery & CAD Design

We offer a bespoke jewellery design service, allowing customers to create individual pieces according to their preferred style and specifications.

Following an initial discussion, we may provide an approximate quotation based on the proposed design.

If you wish to proceed, the next stage may involve creating a Computer-Aided Design (CAD),allowing you to review rendered images of your jewellery before production.

CAD Design Fees

  • £50.00 CAD design service, including up to two design revisions. This fee is included in the approximate quotation and credited towards the final jewellery price if you proceed to production.
  • £25.00 for each additional design revision.
  • £25.00 for an optional 3D printed resin model, allowing you to assess the design and proportions before casting. This is a separate, non-refundable service fee.

Following approval of the final design, we will confirm the exact production cost before proceeding.

CAD rendered images are digital representations and may differ slightly from the appearance of the finished jewellery, particularly in relation to reflections, lighting and surface finishes.

Jewellery made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation rights. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

8. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

For most standard goods purchased online, consumers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days after receiving their goods, subject to applicable exceptions.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within the relevant cancellation period. Where cancellation rights apply, goods should normally be returned within 14 days of notifying us.

Jewellery made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from these change-of-mind cancellation rights.

We will process refunds in accordance with applicable consumer legislation. Any deductions permitted by law will be explained where relevant.

Please refer to our Delivery & Returns page for further instructions.

These provisions do not limit your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods.

9. Manufacturer's Guarantee

Our jewellery is supplied with a 12-month manufacturer's guarantee covering faults arising from manufacturing defects under normal conditions of use.

The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, normal wear and tear or damage resulting from inappropriate handling or care.

Repairs or alterations carried out by third parties may affect the manufacturer's guarantee where they cause or contribute to the problem.

Where a particular gemstone carries an additional warranty, its specific coverage and conditions will apply.

Any lifetime warranty covering a moissanite gemstone's loss of fire and brilliance relates to those optical properties only and does not constitute a lifetime guarantee against damage to the jewellery setting.

Our manufacturer's guarantee is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, your statutory consumer rights.

10. Repairs & Alterations

We offer a jewellery inspection and repair service.

Where a repair is required, we may ask you to return the jewellery for inspection before providing a quotation or confirming whether the work is covered by a guarantee or your statutory rights.

Any chargeable work will be discussed with you before proceeding.

For further details, please visit our Jewellery Repairs page.

11. Product Descriptions & Images

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, measurements and photographs are accurate.

Due to differences in screen settings, photography and lighting, colours and finishes may appear slightly different from the finished jewellery.

Handmade and individually manufactured pieces may also display minor variations consistent with the agreed design.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory right to receive goods that match their description and meet applicable quality requirements.

12. Website & Payment Security

We take the security of customer information and online transactions seriously.

Payments are processed through the payment services made available at checkout.

Additional security or identity checks may occasionally be required to protect customers and prevent fraudulent transactions.

If we need further information to verify an order, we will contact you using the details provided.

13. Privacy & Personal Information

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Information provided when placing an order or contacting us is used for purposes such as processing purchases, arranging delivery and providing customer support.

Further details about how personal information is collected, used and retained should be set out in our Privacy Policy.

15. Liability & Statutory Rights

We are responsible for supplying goods in accordance with the contract and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
